"mnxa" is the fourth album by Fuego. This is the first in which all three band members are involved in playing music. In prior iterations two played music and the third worked solely with visuals. Furthermore, this is the first album in which they record also using acoustic instruments. Following the direction of the previous albums, everything is based on improvisation and insisting on certain ideas, such as that sound perception can become multiple, while the depth of layers and repetition leads to abstraction.
But all of the above is referring to sound, and Fuego's beating heart is its visuals, verging on experimental cinema. The best way to experience this band is to see them live with a big screen, and experience Dana as the shamanic teacher guiding the lysergia of the band, and audience.
